Jerry probably won't say so publically - his ego won't let him - but doesn't the news of TO's release suggest that Steven Jones now has some control over decision or least an increased input.
What is everybody else's opinion ?
Do we go in to a situation where Jerry does not step down but fade away as GM?

Englishneil, it would appear that JJ is listening to others more than he has in the past. I mean, cutting TO, bringing in Wade's old players. That would be GREAT news. I wouldn't doubt that sites like ours are starting to weigh in on JJ. I can't imagine that Stephen wouldn't push for the title if he was running the show. We need to stay at it though! This isn't the time to let our guard down.
